We’ve grown up eating indulgent chocolate éclairs or had sticky fingers reaching for that very last profiterole – some of us have even been lucky enough to help demolish a Croquembouche. Adored for having the fluffiest, crispiest, most golden pastry and filled with a pillowy, luscious creme patissiere, choux pastry treats are a match made in dessert heaven.


Inspired by a love of choux fostered during nostalgic trips eating around the finest Parisian patisseries, our founder, Harpreet Baura has developed a range of products that celebrate the heritage of these classic desserts – but with a brand new touch of glamour. Bijou Choux is the home of modern choux.


Mouthwatering flavours and quirky toppings are harmonised by high quality ingredients, producing Bijou Choux’s luxurious but light treats. Our signature product, Le Chouxnut is a hybrid of a choux ball and a doughnut. Challenging expectations of choux pastry across London, le Chouxnut is a ring of choux pastry filled with creme patissiere and topped with glaze and decorations. It’s a feast for all the senses.


Harpreet Baura is a sweet treat wizard. With years of experience as a cake designer, Bijou Choux is a new project for Harpreet – albeit one years in development. Her work has previously been celebrated in Vogue, Glamour, Time Out and Conde Nast Brides Magazines, amongst many others.


In 2009, Harpreet quit her job as a solicitor to pursue the dream of setting up her very own cake company.  With a legal background and an eye for detail, Harpreet has flourished in the cake world. Keen to constantly develop her skill set and product range, her adventures in choux are keeping her on her toes. On top of this, Harpreet is a busy working mum of one.
